Glen Grant Launches New Website to Celebrate 170 Years of Innovative Single Malt Scotch Whisky Making

Rothes, Scotland (October 27, 2010) – To celebrate 170 years of tradition and innovation, Glen Grant is unveiling a new look for its website, where whisky lovers and budding connoisseurs will be taken on an exciting journey. From Wednesday October 27, they will discover the world of Glen Grant Single Malt Scotch Whisky courtesy of our exceptional guide, Dennis Malcolm, Glen Grant Master Distiller.

This website provides viewers the chance to learn about the distillery’s history which started over 170 years ago by Glen Grant’s founders. In addition there is the possibility to find out more about single malt whisky and meet the current representatives of Glen Grant who are responsible for the production of the golden, crisp tasting whisky at the distillery today.

The website was developed with RBA INTERACTIVE who produced the clean, modern design and easy to navigate webpage to reflect the contemporary ethos of the brand. It offers visitors an introduction to the methods and passion that make Glen Grant Single Malt Scotch Whisky unique. The site features videos of the distillery, historical photographs from the Glen Grant archive, and a tutorial on how to taste the Glen Grant range by the renowned Master Distiller, Dennis Malcolm. Local events and activities in the Speyside area, location of the unique and world-renowned whisky trail will also be featured for those planning a visit to the distillery which lies in the heart of the area.
